On any given day, the town of Fergus is a marvellous sight.

One of Ontario’s most picturesque heritage towns, the historic main street is vibrant with life. Here, 19th Century architecture has become home to local shops, pubs, restaurants and merchants who still pride themselves on offering the personal, small-store service of yesteryear.

Chevy

You’ll find everything from fine jewellery to high-quality men’s and women’s fashions along these streets; from books and entertainment to great food with a local flair. For your sweet tooth, there’s a chocolatier and specialty bakery. Whether you’re looking for something for everyday or a special gift, you can find it in Fergus.

Main Street

Discover the newly restored Fergus Grand Theatre, the fun and funky Fergus General Store, and Templin Gardens, lit up every night of the year and best viewed from the walking bridge that crosses the Grand River in the centre of town. On June 21, come for Doors Open, and get free access to select private historic spaces. Of course, the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games in August, and the Fall Classic Car Show on the Labour Day weekend are events not to be missed.

Pub

Plan a personal visit to Fergus this year. We look forward to seeing you Downtown!
