The corner shop Ahsanti along the boardwalk of Elora's West Mill Street. The storefront has windows from ground to celiling in six panes with dark wood frames. Right of the windows are two dark wood panelled doors with windows in each. Atop the windows and doors is a yellow panel the length of the storefront. Centered on it is a wooden oval sign that reads Ashanti Coffee, with three large curved copper lamps bent to shine on the storefront. Out front of the windows a sits a brown cafe table and two chairs, next to a yellow sandwich board with a chalk board for listing the daily specials.

On the corner of Metcalfe and Mill Street West, Ashanti Café Elora is a picturesque place with an ambience that fits right into the culture of the town. Serving estate-style coffees, grown and roasted for the Ashanti brand, the café serves up their brew with a commitment to encouraging ethical and sustainable farming practices. Add a specialty drink, sweet treat or a light lunch, and watch the Grand River flow by, or take the coffee to go and walk across the street to Elora’s Greenspace, where Muskoka chairs await those who want to savour their Ashanti’s and watch the world go by.
