The two story ornate building of Cork Restaurant sits back from the main sidewalk in downtown Elora. It is unique corner lot building that has a rounded angle edge, so the building appears to wrap around instead of having a hard corner. The ground level is a fine dining restaurant that has light beige painted wood exterior along the street level that wraps around the building and along the north side of the adjoining building, which provides a backdrop to the large wooden outdoor patio with a wrought-iron fence that extends along the front left side of the restaurant. The patio has many tables and chairs with black patio umbrellas. The front of the restaurant features four large windows, two over looking the patio, and two overlooking the interlocking stone walkway that leads to the main entrance. The trim of the windows and doors are painted dark green. The main door is centred between the four windows. A large dark green wooden oval sign has the 3-D words Cork Restaurant displayed in a gold paint, with a 3-D cork appearing to pop out of the top of the sign. The second story is red brick facing and has four windows painted in the light beige trim . Along the roof line is a light beige trim. The roof of the building is a metal green roof.

The Cork Restaurant offers a casual atmosphere with a sophisticated menu for a fine dining experience as memorable as the village of Elora itself. The intimate setting is perfect for any occasion, be it a romantic dinner for two or a celebration for twenty. Every visit is an experience, with the executive chef always looking to evolve the menu to reflect seasonal, local flavours in fresh ways. Renowned for their fresh Tapas nights, but with a reputation for consistently fabulous meals, Cork Restaurant embodies the charm that Elora is known for.
