It’s time for the Sensational Soup Off. \nThis is a unique tradition every bit as good as turkey\, but it warms your heart  … and that of the community. \n  \nSOUPS ON!\nBring your appetite! Enjoy a bowl of soup from your choice of up to 18 soup-makers\, as they compete to become the “Super Souper” of the Year.” The goal to create a flavourful dish using as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible: \nThese super soup-makers are competing in there respective categories: \n\nprofessional\namateur\nyouth\n\nVoting will take place during the event and prizes will be awarded. For more information and an application form to take part in the Soup-Off competition please visit our contest page. \n\nSKIP THE DISHES!\nYou can purchase hand-crafted “Empty Bowls” generously donated by local potters\, available for purchase upon entry. \nThis year\, entry to soup-off is only $15.00 for adults\, $5.00 for children under 12 and $35.00 maximum for a family of two adults plus children. There will also be a dazzling display of one-of-a-kind bowls and glasses\, donated by local artists and available for only $25.00. \nThere’s more on the menu …\nMusicians from Elora Acoustic Cafe will be performing live music all afternoon. \nAll proceeds from this event go to the Centre Wellington Food Bank and the Centre Wellington District High School breakfast program.
