It’s a full day of community celebrations and all things red and white when Elora brings out the traditions for Dominion Day festivities on July 1st, 2018.

7-11am – The fun begins early with a hot breakfast served up fresh by local heroes from the Elora Fire Fighters’ Association’s annual Pancake Breakfast.

– Join the Elora firefighters, members of Centre Wellington Fire Rescue, for a hot pancake breakfast, coffee and juice, served up amongst the big fire trucks right out front of the Township of Centre Wellington‘s Municipal Offices at 1 MacDonald Square.

8-11am – Get ready to roll and cheer on the kids in the annual Soap Box Derby that runs from the hill at David Street and Geddes Street down to the TD Bank. It’s so much fun! This event is sponsored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.

11am – The Dominion Day Parade takes to the streets of downtown Elora, with fun floats, marching bands, pipe bands and so much more. The parade is hosted by the Centre Wellington Rotary Club and winds through town to Bissell Park.

Enjoy the afternoon in beautiful Bissell Park with the whole family. There is live music, activities, and the always popular “Diamond in the Ruff” dog agility show, plus a performance by the Blue Bonnet Lassies School of Highland Dancing.

12-1:30pm – FREE hot dog and beverage served up fresh by the Elora Lions Club.

1:30pm – Gather riverside in Bissell Park for the Centre Wellington Duck Race.
