There is something special about the tradition and atmosphere of the Opening Night Gala for the Elora Festival. Now celebrating its 39th anniversary, this year’s opening night is presented in partnership with the Canadian Opera Company.
The evening promises a musical feast of warmth, passion and sheer vocal brilliance. Internationally acclaimed soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian and three stars of the Canadian Opera Company stage are joined by full orchestra and chorus to bring festival-goers a glorious evening of opera favourites, including “Habanera,” “The Pearl Fishers,” and “Nessun dorma.”
