Highland Pines takes pride in providing a safe, relaxed and fun atmosphere for the whole family. Having been in operation for almost 50 years they are experienced in providing a camping experience designed for all ages. With over 600 seasonal sites spread across over 200 acres, they offer a multitude of different environments that are tailored to different camping demographics. From the lush pines and rolling hills of the Lakeside, the open spaces and mature vegetation of Riverside and the open spaces and large sites of valley springs, there is truly something for everyone. Open from May 6 to October 10, be sure to bring the boat. The facility offers a 100-slip marina to get out and explore Lake Belwood from the best view possible. The Elora Gorge is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural area in the Grand River watershed. The Grand River rushes past 22-metre high cliffs. Riverside trails (with safety barriers) and scenic overlooks provide hikers with stunning views of the water far below where kayakers and tubers make their way through the rapids. Tubing adventures, splash pad, sport fields, trails and access to great fishing on the Grand River make Elora Gorge Park a great place to camp, from May 1 to October 15. The park features 250 unserviced sites, 130 serviced sites with water, 15/30 amp electrical sites and 20 serviced sites with 15 amp electrical.
