Fergus Tartan Day

Tilt’yer Kilt and get yer Scottish on for the annual Fergus Tartan Day 2018!

Head to downtown Fergus a day of fun on April 8, from 1-5pm.

Bringing the wee lads and lassies?  They’ll get in on the fun too with the McHeavies events, archery skills (don’t worry – they use foam-tipped arrows) and can hurry-hard to hit the button on the outdoor curling rink.

The Kilted KM is a quick dash through the streets of Fergus which makes not only for great exercise, but also a most colourful spectator sport! Join in the race at 1:30 outside Fraberts Market Place at the Fergus Marketplace.

There will be street performances by Celtic Jazz/Funk band Skril, plus the Blue Bonnet Dancers will perform out front of the Fergus Library. You’ll find local musicians performing at various pubs around town and to be sure you’ll find your way you can follow along on the Pub Crawl led by both the Fergus Pipe Band and Grand Celtic Pipe Band.

Visit participating stores who will also be celebrating in this festive event – celebrating our proud Scottish heritage in downtown Fergus!
